Tim Cartwright
Tim Cartwright has a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from The Johns Hopkins University and presently works on grid computing for the Condor Project at the University of Wisconsin – Madison's Computer Science Department. He has worked as a programmer, consultant, and project leader in many areas, including education, not-for-profit, industry, and military.
For a long time, Tim has been interesting in applying his background in Cognitive Science, education, and programming to the creation of cutting-edge educational technology. Everyone knows that he secretly desires to become the Bill Gates of ed tech, dominating the field with an iron fist and crushing all competition into dust. In the meantime, though, he is willing to help out in any way possible, even writing PHP code *shudder*.
Since becoming affiliated with GLS, Tim has learned to excel at shooting things, collecting diverse objects with a very sticky ball, and being a rock 'n' roll god (at least to his impressionable young children).
